Who you would be working with
I build software for small and medium businesses across Europe: first versions that prove an idea, web and mobile apps, AI assistants and the automation that quietly removes the work nobody should still be doing by hand.
You are dealing with one person the whole way through. The one who scopes it is the one who builds it and the one who answers when something breaks on a Sunday. Nothing gets handed to a junior you never met, because there is no junior.
What I do all day
Run things that are already in production. There are 5 systems listed under work, and every one of them is live right now — you can open them and use them. Some are mine, one belongs to a client whose platform I build and maintain.
That matters more than it sounds. Building something that demos well is a different skill from keeping it alive once real people and real money are going through it, and the second one is where most projects quietly fall apart. I have had to learn it on my own products, which is the cheapest place to learn it.
Background, briefly
- I run my own consultancy in Málaga, building custom systems for small businesses — and products of our own rather than reselling other people's software.
- I administer the servers my work runs on, so hosting, certificates, backups and monitoring are part of what I deliver, not somebody else's problem.
- I build with AI tooling daily, which is why a first version arrives in days. It has not changed what I will put my name on.
- Working languages: EN, DE, ES, RU. Based in Spain (CET), so most of Europe is in my working day.
How I work
Scope in writing before anything starts, one price agreed against that scope, and anything extra quoted and approved before I touch it. No hourly rate, so nobody is watching a clock. There are three ways a project starts, depending on how clear it already is in your head.
When I am not the right person
Worth saying out loud, because it saves us both a call:
- If what you need is an off-the-shelf tool configured, buy the tool. I build custom software; I do not resell or implant other people's suites.
- If you want someone by the hour who works through a backlog you manage, that is a different arrangement than mine.
- If the scope genuinely cannot be pinned down and has to stay open-ended, a fixed price would be dishonest from either side.
- If you need a team of five starting Monday, I am one person. I will say so rather than take it and struggle.
Getting hold of me
WhatsApp is fastest and it is me who answers, usually within a couple of business days. If you would rather lay it out in writing, the form works just as well.
